CPF candle filters are specialized filtration elements which are designed to remove impurities and contaminants from polymer melts in the manufacturing process, thus ensuring the production of high-quality polymer products. These filters are designed to ensure the highest quality standards for polymer manufacturing. CPF Candle Filter Elements are groups of metal pleated filter elements fixed with candle holders to work as an candle-like filtration unit. Porous metal filters for high-temperature, high pressure polymer processing applications. Designed to remove the impurities ( such as titanium dioxide, gels and other solid residues ) of the polymer melt in chemical fiber, textile and plastics industries. Suitable for monomer, pre-polymer or polymer filter systems.

    Description

    The construction of the CPF candle filter is a testament to engineering precision. These filters bear a resemblance to candles, and are crafted from high-quality materials which are capable of withstanding the extreme temperatures and pressures encountered in polymer manufacturing. Crafted from materials like sintered metal or ceramics, the polymer filter element forms the foundation of all CPF candle filters. This core houses an intricate network of channels, forming a sophisticated filtration pathway.
    The term polymer candle filter signifies precision and excellence in ensuring the purity of polymer products. CPF candle filters operate as polymer melt flows through them. Along this complex path, contaminants are captured, leaving behind only the pure polymer. It's a process that guarantees the final polymer product meets the strictest quality standards.

    The main filter layer of Pleated Filter mainly uses two materials：stainless steel wire mesh and stainless steel Sintered fiber . Stainless steel wire mesh is woven from stainless steel wire. Its pleated filter has the characteristics of smooth pores, easy cleaning, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, no wire mesh falling off, and long filtration cycle. Stainless steel sintered fiber is a porous deep filter material made of stainless steel fibers sintered at high temperature. Its pleated filter has the characteristics of high porosity, good air permeability, strong dirt holding capacity, and strong regeneration ability.

    1. Every polymer filter element is tested by bubble-point and air flow method before shipment to ensure product integrity and performance. Test certificate is offered with each lot of shipment.
    2. All polymer melt filter elements are laser marked for identification and easy tracing at bottom of end fittings. According to this, we can provide reliable after sales service.
    3. Candle elements are made from 304L or 316L stainless steel filter media. Ideal for repeated cleaning and long term uses. Suitable for high temperatures uses and highly corrosive applications.
